The next in the ongoing series of dialogs between San Diego area Lutheran and Anglican clergy is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 6, 9:00-11:00 AM, at the offices of Christ the King Anglican Church, located at 9939 Hibert Street, Suite 101, San Diego, CA 92131. (Phone: 858-621-0644, website: www.ctksd.org). The discussion will focus on several issues related to Holy Eucharist that were not addressed at the last meeting due to time limitations. While the discussions are intended to be primarily between clergy, any interested lay persons are also invited to attend.
One of the most important questions in our lives is the question of purpose; what am I made for? Is there a plan for my life? Asked amidst the busyness of our everyday lives, it is often hard to take the time to find an answer, or to hear God’s answer. Join men from Anglican churches throughout San Diego in a weekend of camping, hiking, and discussion as we travel into the wilderness to discover the divine design in creation, manhood, family, work and rest.
Together, we will tent camp at the Riverside County Park Campground in Idyllwild from Friday night, May 30, to Sunday morning, June 1. Saturday our discussions will take place on the trail as we hike in Mount San Jacinto State Park. We will conclude our time on Sunday with a morning service of Eucharist. (read more...)
