Anglican Theology and History Course coming to Bethel Seminary this Fall

The next in the series of Anglican studies courses offered at Bethel Seminary in San Diego is scheduled for this fall. The course, taught by Fr. David Montzingo, D.Min, and Fr. Brian Hughes, M.Div, will provide a survey of the principal events, people, and convictions that shaped theology and practice in the Church of England, the American churches that directly descended from it, and the worldwide Anglican Communion. The course will begin with the arrival of Christianity in the British Isles and continue through the Middle Ages, the Protestant Reformation, and the spread of the Anglican Church to America and throughout the world. “Come With Your Fire” Healing Mission Slated for June 19-20 at Grace Anglican Church in Oceanside

Dr. Joshua Brown, Ph.D., internationally known healing minister, will lead a healing mission, entitled “Come With Your Fire,” on Friday/Saturday, June 19-20, at Grace Anglican Church in Oceanside. The event is being sponsored by the Christian Healing Center, a ministry of Branches of the Cross Anglican Church in Vista, CA. The program will address issues including physical healing, inner healing, deliverance, and personal prayer ministry. Third Annual Men’s Hike Scheduled for June 5-7 in Idyllwild

Holy Spirit Anglican Church is sponsoring its third annual Men’s Campout and Hike to be held on June 5-7 at Riverside County Park in Idyllwild, CA. The event is open to men from all churches in the San Diego Deanery and promises to be a great outdoors adventure for the attendees. Fr. Brian Hughes, who is the event coordinator, writes that “the weekend offers a unique time to be together as men of faith, to be in a different environment than we normally are, and thus perhaps a bit more open to hearing God's voice. Each of the past two hikes we have done have been significant experiences for those who went on them and have forged bonds of friendship between us.” Fr.
