Bishop Thompson visits Resurrection

 Bill Thompson, bishop of Diocese of Western Anglicans, visited Anglican Church of the Resurrection for the first time since being installed as bishop.  He gathered with members of the congregation for breakfast Saturday morning November 20th to speak on, "What does it mean to be Anglican?"  The breakfast was well attended and insightful  (read more...)

Softball!

So begins the 3rd season of softball for San Diego Anglicans.  

While the mighty Resurrection pugs are growing in number and bulk and had some

decent muscle memory left over from last season, they were no match for the

sluggers of Holy Trinity in Ocean Beach.  

I didn't catch the final score but if felt like 37 to 10 [or somewhere thereabouts].  

With some intense training under new coach Nick, the pugs are looking forward to a rematch later in the season.    (read more...)
