Prop 8 Wins By Over One-half Million Votes

Proposition 8 wins by 504,479 !

In the end traditional marriage saw a gain of ~.5% points for an official result of: 52.5% Yes to 47.5% No.

This can only mean good things, because, as San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom is so fond of saying, "As goes California, so goes the nation..."

For anybody. I'm scratching around for latest estimates of how many Episcopalians there are in the state. Any good guesses out there? Data's better, of course, if you've got it.

Although we read the numbers- Prop 8 Wins By Over One-half Million Votes- we need to look at the percentages and they are discouraging. However, we know what scripture tells us about the sodomites, and therefore we should be totally committed as a Christian community to dedicate ourselves to increasing the number of yes votes for the next prop.8 or whatever it will be called. We need to pray for these sodomites and also pray for those who worked so hard for our victory. We give all the glory to God for giving us the strength and courage to stand up to those who will violate Scripture.
