Bill Thompson, bishop of Diocese of Western Anglicans, visited Anglican Church of the Resurrection for the first time since being installed as bishop. He gathered with members of the congregation for breakfast Saturday morning November 20th to speak on, "What does it mean to be Anglican?" The breakfast was well attended and insightful
as members shared the elements of the Anglican tradition which have drawn them to Resurrection. He then shared his vision of Anglicanism as well as goals for the diocese. Today, during the 10:30 family worship service, Bishop Thompson also presided over 2 baptisms as well as confirmation, reception and reaffirmation of faith by congregants.
