Something has been sown. What shall be reaped?

A recent survey by the Barna Group seems to indicate that the less a generation allows their lives to be influenced by Christ, the more tolerant the next generation becomes of unholy living.  Sounds familiar.  Psalm 78:8Luke 1:50Hebrews 3:10.  With shifting demographics, declining birth rates and escalating costs & liabilities for unfunded government entitlement programs, Boomers may be in for a surprise when they seek care in their golden years.  Their descendents may be too selfish and the government too poor to care for them.  We've witnessed a quarter of a generation sacrificed to Molech since Roe v Wade and elders in our capitol city gates who spend more than they tax.  Don't get me wrong.  I'm not a pessimist.  I put my trust in Christ's faithfulness and not the front page of the newapsper.  The Church militant will continue to grow and leaven the world with His Word which endures forever.  But this is a setback.  More to come on the Church as mother to our culture.
