Fr. Eric Menees elected Bishop of San Joaquin

On May 14 our very own San Diego Anglican President, Fr. Eric Menees, was elected to be the next Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of San Joaquin. We are so very proud of him and happy for him, and at the same time jealous of the people of San Joaquin and selfish in our sorrow over losing him.  He has been an integral part of SDA for many years and our loss is most certainly San Joaquin's gain.  There'll be plenty of time for good-byes between now and September, but i figured I better start practicing so i can hopefully manage to do so with dignity when the time comes, rather than just falling apart, which is what I want to do right now.  My consolation is that he is and always will be my friend and my brother, both in this world and for eternity. &nbsp&nbsp(read more...)

If you missed the Kingdom Conference up in Irvine organized by the Diocese of Western Anglicans, don't despair!

AnglicanTV did a great job of covering the event.  Catch our own Fr. Eric Menees or Russell Martin or keynote speaker

Rev. Canon Michael Green.  Check it out here.
