The College plans to select the new bishop for the DWA at their next meeting, scheduled to take place in October.
In the meantime, Archbishop Robert Duncan has appointed the Rt. Rev. Frank Lyons to be the Vicar-General of the diocese. Bishop Lyons will oversee the diocese and perform all necessary episcopal duties (ordinations, confirmations, etc.) until a permanent bishop can be selected.   (read more...)
A letter from the Debbie Kollgaard, President of the Diocese of Western Anglicans, has been released providing updated information regarding the selection of a new bishop for the diocese. A pdf copy of the letter is attached to this posting.
